"Our Motors Mine Coal"
Gould's Electric Motor Repair, Inc. has been serving the mining and heavy
industrial industries since 1976. Our facilities consist of over 35,000 square
feet of space containing state of the art machinery and equipment which enables
us to produce the highest quality new and rebuilt electric motors in the
industry.
We presently employ over 40 people at our three locations in West Virginia,
Kentucky, and Illinois. We have been a member of the Electrical Apparatus
Service Association (EASA) since 1979. Gould's Electric was the first electric
motor repair facility in the United States to be approved for the MSHA V/CAP
quality control program. This program requires voluntary compliance with
schedule 18 subpart 7 and 2G federal guidelines.
Since the beginning, we have never compromised quality or service. We use the
highest quality materials that can be found in the industry. Our employees have
an average of 16 years experience repairing and building electric motors. We
currently employ four electricians with MSHA and WV coal mine certifications.
This enables us to troubleshoot on the surface and underground, as well as
perform schedule 18 and 2G repairs.
We would like very much to show you our facility in person and describe to you
our repair processes and procedures which have permitted us to grow into what
we, and our customers, feel is one of the best equipped electric motor repair
facilities anywhere.
